Airpark Auto Pros Stands Against Racism
We commit to be part of the solution.
A letter from our owner, June 2020:
To our Customers, Friends and Community,
We stand in solidarity with our black colleagues and the black community in the fight against racism and injustice. Let us be clear. Racism and hatred have no place in our world and will not be tolerated in any form in our company.
Let us also be clear in this: black lives matter.
It hurts my heart that we need to say this—it should be such a basic fact. The reality is that we do need to say it, and as a white man, I have come to learn that people like me need to live it and verbalize it even more than everyone else. We are not talking about an organization or political movement—we are talking about people—people we love; people that matter.
As a business we commit to be part of the solution.
We commit to model the behaviors of love and respect. We commit to zero tolerance of racism. We commit to treat every customer, every staff member, and every community member with respect and honor—not because of rules or because of behavioral policies, but because that is who we strive to be and the culture we strive to create.
We ask you to do the same and to let me know if we fall short.
Sincerely,
John Burley Jr.
